"The Barracks hotel has been lovingly renovated and is a fantastic hotel! Its lovely friendly staff go out of their way to ensure your stay with them is one to remember. The food is excellent and the rooms spotlessly clean. One extra special touch was speaking with Winston a war vetran, who shares his stories and sketches of being a soldier living in The Barracks during the war. This hotel was a fantastic find."

"I loved the hotel. Clean, modern and friendly staff. Only complaint is wardrobe space. There is no wardrobe. There are a few hangers but I ended up living out of my suitcase, which I struggle with for any stay over 3 days. But I would still come back here. "
