"Design Hotel with amazing features and a lot of stairs. Check in is done at sister hotel Blue as well as a champagne breakfast buffet. Wonderful atmosphere access to plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. Easy walk from the train station for us. Can't wait to return. The staff was amazing and made you feel welcomed. Thanks for a lovely weekend away.
Only negatives were some of the room designs. There is limited space in the bathroom sink for things. The bathtub is in the room so the splash zone...

"El trato del personal es muy amable, el hotel es antiguo y está bien cuidado y muy cerca de la plaza del mercado lo cual está muy bien. El baño es cómodo y el buffet desayuno básico pero correcto. La gran pega que encontré es que no puedes regular la calefacción menos mal que me llevé una bata gorda....porque en plena ola de frío polar la habítación estaba fría. "

The public car park is a short walk away by the railway and you need to pay by cards. None of my UK Mastercard or Visa cards would work with the machines but my wife's Barclaycard did; no idea why but something to be aware of. "Excellent, visited this hotel as in February 9th 1945 my grandfather was outside here with the the 61st Highland Anti Tank Regiment. Great history in the area and the hotel. We did have a little difficulty during dinner with language barrier mixing our main courses and part of our order was not given however we received excellent help for an English speaking waiter and the situtwas rectified."

"Hier een nachtje doorgebracht en net als vorig jaar prima bevallen.
Het enige kleine minpuntje was dat het ontbijt nu een buffet was terwijl je vorig jaar nog een etagère aan tafel kreeg met je ontbijt.
Normaal gesproken is dit geen probleem, maar nu waren er vliegen bij het ontbijt en dat is dan toch wel wat minder."
