"There are not many places to stay in Wimborne. This is probably the best. Don’t expect elevators or lots of modern conveniences here. This is a 16th century hotel with narrow staircases and our room had beamed ceilings and a copper bathtub. What is great is that it is right in the won center and has enough free and secure parking so you don’t need to use a public carpark."

"The location was perfect for us as we were going to the theatre. (2 minute walk). Walking to town didn’t take much longer and we enjoyed looking around. The lady that checked us in was very friendly and offered advice about where to visit. It was nice to be greeted with a smile and the same for when we went down for breakfast. "Bit of an issue getting into the property as we arrived quite late but thought the pub would still be open. Sorted out quickly without a problem though. Room was really good, comfortable, clean with all we needed for a good night's sleep. Owner seems to have considered what was required really well. Breakfast was excellent & catered for all tastes. Staff friendly & helpful. Would stay again."

Room furnished with freestanding pine double wardrobe accommodating full-sized ironing board, electric iron and hairdryer. space divided into 2, left side fore and aft clothes hanging rail (6 hangers),right side 3 shelves 2 drawers. The wardrobe double doors warped, difficult to open & close making loud squealing noise! the drawers were off their broken runners and operated...

"Room very clean & tidy looks like a recent refurbish which was very well done , the only thing was the mattresses could do with renewing , which is the only negative thing to say about our stay was able to help ourselves to tea ,coffee etc when needed . Could not ask for better staff , nothing to much trouble for them to do , very good choice for breakfast , never went out hungry also very good menu all round with a good choice of drinks at the bar , will definitely stay again and would highly...
