"Our stay at this inn is very lovely! We had dinner at the pub beforehand and the food was really good. They also served 1 complimentary drink as we're staying in the inn for the night. The room was very cozy, clean, and beautiful! The inn is located in the middle of the national park so you can easily walk to a nearby path or drive for a short distance to other paths. I would definitely recommend!"

"Great people and a perfect room. Good location for visiting many places in Dorset. The inn is an old thatched building with a decent beer garden and covered outdoor eating. The food is very good pub fayre and there are interesting specials. On Friday and Saturday delicious pizzas are also served, cooked in the outdoor wood fired pizza oven Breakfast is included with the room and there are a good variety of choices with quality ingredients. A great find that we will revisit if ever on holiday...

"This was one of the best experiences I’ve had in all of England staying at this charming inn. The food was outstanding as well as the service and staff. I would highly recommend this to anyone, especially if you want to visit several of the southern Pride and Prejudice movie sites such as Stourhead or Wilson House. Stonehenge is also close by! All of the staff were welcoming and helpful. We stayed for dinner one evening and there was a wonderful atmosphere and our food was delicious, highly recommend the Milk Tart as a sweet treat to finish off the meal. This is a wonderful gem in a gorgeous setting, and we will definitely return."
