"Location is very good for walking around Flagstaff. Front desk staff were kind. Adequate hotel breakfast. Free food and three drinks per evening added to value of stay. Room was a bit dated with worn out soft mattresses and no fan in bathroom. "

"My son and I were staying in Flagstaff for one night as he had a camp at NAU. This property more than exceeded our expectations as it was in a great location, pretty and woodsy and the room was clean, quiet with a spacious bathroom and separate sink area, as well as comfy beds. Would definitely recommend and come back to stay in the future. "

"Water pressure at sink was weak but in bath was good. Broken tile in bathroom and tub stained. Can't close blinds to block out light and sound. Heard train whistle and noise. We wish they had an ice machine on each floor and drinking water available. However, the staff was wonderful. Very kind and helpful. The pool and hot tub were refreshing. And the breakfast was great. The place badly needs updating but truly the service made up for a lot."

"We stayed two night to visit the Grand Canyon. HCML is a trendy fun place with a busy lobby and patio area. The room was clean and quiet, they provided everything we needed. There is a nice bar in the lobby. Parking was room side and plentiful. Definitely recommend. "

"The room was very nice but the bathroom barely had room for my walker and there was only one safety bar in the shower and it was too low to be of any use. The room was very quiet and on ground level and very close to several restaurants. We would definitely stay there again."

"The staff were awesome! Great quiet location. Room was clean, front desk called after we got into the room to make sure everything was just as we wanted it. The ONLY draw back was the fan wouldn’t run continuously to keep the air moving. Front desk asked a lot of details about the problem when we left to make sure they could get it fixed. I was very impressed and would definitely stay again. "

"Everything is great except for the shower which looks beautiful but has no water pressure at all and literally drips . It’s impossible to wash your hair and you can hardly get clean. The bed and bedding is fantastic, extremely comfortable. The fireplace is beautiful and relaxing . The hotel is quiet and safe, close to everything . Overall the hotel gets high ratings except for the barely functioning shower. "
