Great stop-off point just a few minutes off the motorway. At the price point it is great value. Oh, and the delicious breakfast was carefully prepared and presented. No room safe, no reception desk However it is in a good position for the Wallace tower and museum (walkable) also very near the university. Breakfast is brought to you in a basket the night before and left outside your room. "The staff were extremely helpful. We arrived slightly late for an evening meal but the kitchen stay open to provide an excellent dinner. We had a small puppy with us and the facility to have him with us was great. The room was large and clean with nice little extras."

The restaurant has wonderful food. Our dinners were the best we had on our trip to Scotland. The breakfasts were bountiful and tasty.

"My room was on the entrance floor and very quiet. I loved the bed and pillows, very confortable! There was a little space between the bed and the bathroom wall but this wasn't an inconvenience as it was just a very small part in the way to the window.
The breakfast is very generous and delicious, having a lot of options, including the Scottish Breakfast.
