"I really liked this hotel. Very different from all other places I’ve stayed in Houston. However, we booked the beach room and were given the snow room. Not a huge deal but was slightly disappointed. When leaving the next morning we were told we’d be charged 15$ for late check out. Which we were totally fine with. We do late check out often. Upon leaving she DEMANDED my card while my hands were full with my belongings so she could charge for late checkout. I know my card is on file, if I were to...

"Check in was an easy process. Room was clean just had a dry smell. Bath towels were very hard and well worn. Very friendly staff."

"Staff was fantastic! From the front desk to the valet and housekeeping. Everyone was so helpful and personable. Great location; close to everything we wanted to see. Good restaurant choices near by. We enjoyed the Bayou as well. This will be one of our go to hotels. On another note: Houston needs to provide some services for the unhoused population in downtown areas though. It was heartbreaking to see some many ppl suffering in the midst of"

"Our weekend stay at The Laura was perfect. It was centrally located to everywhere we wanted to go, staff was pleasant and check-in process was very smooth. They even had a DJ playing Friday evening at the hotel bar, he was great! Will definitely be back again."
