"Absolutely lovely stay as a solo traveller. Has all the charm and feel of Bath I was so surprised when I turned the corner and saw the street of gorgeous Georgian townhomes I would be staying on. Location was perfect - walkable to everything and super convenient to be able to come back before dinner and not lose any time. My room had a stunning view of the town on the top floor."

"This was a quaint walkup near the centre of bath that was convenient for walking. Parking was exceptionally tight and hard to find, but once there, it worked. The apartment was older with bedrooms up another floor and only an on suite on the top floor. This could be a consideration depending on who you are travelling with. Manager was friendly, provided lots of information and advice and stocked the pantry with basics for our first morning - much appreciated. No AC - which was ok with fans when...

"We loved our stay. The pool, sauna, and steam rooms are superb. The staff is incredibly warm and helpful. Our only confusion was how to notify about having the room refreshed/done up. There is a door knob hanger that says “Please refresh our room” on one side and on the other, a notification if you need assistance because you are disabled. Our understanding of this was that if you do not put out that notice that the room doesn’t get done up, and we were fine with that. Yet our room was cleaned....

"Well located (15 minute walk to the baths, and on several bus lines). Nice property, excellent breakfast. Our only issue was that our room (top floor) had a sloping ceiling that you have to be careful of to avoid bumping your head and which effectively reduces the useful space in the room."

"A very beautiful and unique hotel in a spectacular area just away from the tourist drag of Bath city center. The hotel has alot of character and period decor. Its an old hotel, so the heating was nit on, understandibly so as it was May. The plumbing is also not updated, so there is a hot tap and a cold tap at the sink. The facilities are adequate for a shorter stay. The hotel is being upgraded, so there was alot of noise above us for our 2 night stay. The staff are friendly and helpful."

"Everything about this stay was wonderful - from the building, to the room, the beds, and especially the service. Monica and her team were excellent - extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast was delicious and generous, and the location of this stay was ideal - close to nearly everything. A few notes: Be aware that there is no AC, so plan accordingly - though fans, lighter bedding and bottled water were provided. My only recommendation would be to add a small mini fridge to keep the water...
