"Beautiful setting, will definitely stay again. We have stayed in a few hotel/ guest houses nearby but this will ve our number one choice in future. One or two minor gripes: shower list all water halfway through which was awkward but no real explanation given other than everyone myst be using the shower at the same time. "I had a great stay. I was travelling for work so appreciated the provided parking spaces and fast internet. The service was excellent (offered a pot of tea with milk on arrival) and the breakfast was all freshly cooked. "

"Hotel was excellent. Staff were great would recommend the Hotel and would stay there again. However booked a 1hr session at the spar which was cancelled by the spar only 2 hours before the due time, offered the next day but for only 1/2 hour and not the treatment required so declined.The pool and jucosy were however excellent The Fat Abbot pub?? "Catherine is a wonderful hostess, the place is clean and comfortable and beautifully presented. The farm is in the middle of nowhere but within short distances to villages with pubs or the park and ride to take you to York. The room had everything we needed and it was spacious, the bed was comfortable, tea and coffee provided with fresh milk available in the kitchenette.
