"Wonderful stay at MonkBridge House. Paul and Fiona were incredibly warm, friendly, and knowledgeable hosts who made us feel very welcome. The breakfasts were delicious and thoughtfully prepared. The rooms were bright, spotless, and well-equipped with everything we needed. We especially loved the thoughtful touches like the freshly baked shortbread cookies in the room. Highly recommend for anyone visiting York."

"The location was good, though parking was difficult in the back alley. The room was quite hot, even on a cool day, and were it not for the ability to open the window and use a fan (already in the room) it would have been very comfortable. The condition of the room - new and clean - was very good."

"We had such a lovely stay at this wonderful B&B.
Comfy bed and the room was well equipped with tea and coffee, biscuits, water etc. We had no trouble parking. Breakfast was first class. "
