"The room I got was very good for the price. It was perfectly clean and had all the amenities I wanted plus some extras, like they provided detergent for the washing machine. The location is nice (1 block away from a subway station) and the staff are efficient. The only thing I disliked is that they want you to leave your keys with the front desk whenever you leave the hotel, which is strange and could cause problems, but thankfully I avoided any such problems."

"I stayed with two adult friends here and it was a lovely location! We appreciated being able to do laundry, and the soaker bathtub was great for after a long day. Having the air conditioning was also perfect for the warmer days. The only thing was that the stairs were quite steep, so take care if mobility may be a concern."

"Great host and communication. The house is cozy and it had everything we needed. The air conditioning was great in the Japanese heatwave. In just under 10 minutes, you can walk to some of the nicest streets in Kyoto with temples and cafes.
