"Amazing stay at an amazing property. We were picked up promptly from the station after calling. We would have walked the 10 minutes down the hill but it was pouring rain. Rooms were ready and clean. They called a restaurant they suggested to us to make sure they were open (it was the beginning of the shoulder season). The rooms weren’t very sound proofed, but it really wasn’t needed. "The hotel is beautiful, has really large and well decorated rooms, amazing bathrooms, large balconies, and once you walk outside, you have a breathtaking view of Mount Matterhorn and the river that goes thru the village. The breakfast is great, you get your money's worth. With all this said, the only reason the hotel did not receive a 5 star review was an incident that could have been handled better. "We had a fantastic 3 day stay at this lovely hotel, rooms spacious and clean, big comfy bed, tasty breakfast, close to town and both railway stations. We were getting the 1st Glacier Express that morning, and they kindly did an early breakfast sitting. Would highly recommend"

"Absolutely incredible stay overall, 10/10. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, seemed to go out of their way to ensure all our needs were met and questions answered. The hotel itself is clean, beautiful with lovely amenities. The room itself was spacious and the Mountain View balcony had the most incredible view of the Matterhorn that left us speechless. "Travelling from the US with 10 year old daughter for skiing in late december. The Matterhorn view was incredible. Friendly and helpful staff. They helped pick the right lifts and runs based on skill level. Very convenient ski room for gear. Very good breakfast with lots of options. The pool was nice as well. Between the two main lifts. Overall 10/10, but i wish they would take amex. We took a taxi to the lifts because the walk is maybe 7 minutes in boots and we aren't used to that yet,...
