The best of both worlds, Mille Vigne feels totally private but is just 15 minutes from the charming town of St. Helena in the Napa Valley or 30 minutes from Santa Rosa and all that Sonoma has to offer.
More than just a house, Mille Vigne is a luxurious compound, comprising a generous primary modern villa and, about 60 feet away, a standalone private guest house. Both structures are situated on a very private lot, which features meticulously curated gardens and paths that light up romantically at night. Also on the compound are several acres of planted cabernet franc grapes, maintained by neighboring vineyard Pride Mountain Vineyards and used in their world-class wines, and an outdoor spa overlooking them, complete with a deep soaking tub and shower.
The center of the compound is the modern villa. This house has been recently redone by a team of local artists and designers and features beautiful furniture, art and finishes. The villa also features a wrap-around terrace, with views of the vineyard and the olive and fruit trees on the property. The terrace offers a beautiful spot to luxuriate with a glass of wine or enjoy a meal cooked in the villa's chef's kitchen. The kitchen features a large six-burner chef's stove and oven, large refrigerator, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine, and all kitchen essentials.
The villa offers two lovely sleeping options:
Primary Suite: Queen-size bed, French doors onto private patio with water fountain. Large newly redone en suite bathroom, with open shower and deep soaking tub. Walk-in closet.
Second Bedroom: Queen bed, French doors onto wrap-around terrace. Overlooks vineyard. Modern shower set in the bedroom, along with a private water closet and sink.
The villa also features a den and library, which includes a comfortable day bed and can sleep 1.
The guest house offers an additional luxurious and private option. The huge guest house is studio-style and includes its own large private terrace overlooking the vineyards, dining and living space (including a wood-burning fireplace), a kitchenet with a sink and mini fridge (perfect for pulling together some wine and cheese or making coffee in the morning) and a large bathroom, with a walk-in shower. The guest house is very private and about 60 feet from the main house, accessible by short walk through the garden paths.
