Hacienda Sonoma is one of the few vacation rental properties within walking distance to so many wineries! Custom built in 2008 -- professionally designed and beautifully decorated, every detail has been thoughtfully considered with wonderful weekends in mind. Entertaining is easy here, and the location is perfect -- walk to nine wineries (or drive to over 50 wineries within 10 miles), walk to a nice dinner or our local market, and no one has to be the 'D.D.' on vacation. If you're a 'foodie,' this house was designed for you! Every possible amenity is available for entertaining in style, including a wood-fired pizza oven, 2 dishwashers, extra-large oven, KitchenAid stand mixer, and beautiful serving pieces.

Stay in luxurious comfort with pillow-top mattresses, spacious travertine bathrooms with lots of outlets and elbow space, two fireplaces, a bocce court, a pool table and bar, large flat-screen TV, and whole-house sound system. Our gardens are filled with flowers (plus a lavender field behind the house), a zinfandel vineyard, and herb garden. Al Fresco living / dining / and cooking areas are lit by chandeliers.

A thousand activities close by! Sonoma Valley is full of fun things to do. Whether you're into golf or skydiving, hiking or wine pairings, there's something fun for you in our area.

Girls' weekends are fun at Hacienda Sonoma, too! We can arrange for a private chef and/or massage therapists on site. Wonderful spas abound in Sonoma Valley. The best part about our location in Wine Country? No one has to be the "D.D." There's more than a full weekend of wine-tasting within a 5-block radius of our property. If you'd like to sample some of the more than 50 wineries within a 10-mile radius, let us recommend a great limo service to take you wine-tasting in style!

It's a foodie/wine-lover's paradise: Sonoma Valley has been rated as one of the top destinations in the world for food and wine, and Hacienda Sonoma was designed to be the perfect environment for enjoying them. Our kitchen is huge and extremely well equipped. When have you rented a vacation home that came with an Italian wood-fired pizza oven, a KitchenAid stand mixer, two dishwashers, two coffee pots, built-in grill, electric wine bottle opener, extra-large professional oven, and matching place settings for 20? We love to cook and entertain, and we love to do it in Wine Country style. Visit the local farmers' markets and be inspired, or, hire our chef to come and cook for a truly memorable occasion.

Fun is everywhere at Hacienda Sonoma! Our bocce court, pool table, whole-house sound system, plasma T.V., upstairs bar, Blu-Ray DVD player, DVR, DirecTV Satellite system, VCR, puzzles, board games, WiFi, and even the redwood play structure in the back yard, means that fun is had by everyone in the group.

We had a wonderful stay at Hacienda Sonoma. Bridget was on top of the problem we had initially with the internet which was solved immediately. The place is quite spacious with many areas to gather or to bask in solitude of the garden/outdoor area. I had the luscious figs every morning for breakfast and we made salads and dishes with the squash and herbs. The wineries and restaurants, along with a wonderful couple of small markets within walking distance was a definite plus. Highly recommend.

Hacienda Sonoma was absolutely beautiful! Loved the large kitchen (with anything you need to cook) and large table, where we consistently congregated as a group. The bedrooms were all very comfortable, with large bathrooms.Finally, the location was perfect! It was so convenient and walkable to restaurants and wineries.We would definitely love to stay here again, and highly recommend the property.

This IS the place!

Lovely property, well equipped and able to handle our family of six adults. Nicely located near several vineyards and not too far from Sonoma and the redwoods which were on our list of must sees. The owner was easy to deal with and very accommodating. Highly recommend.

Perfect setting!

This is a gorgeous property! It is comfortable and spacious with outdoor space as well. It was quiet and relaxing after a day of touring and tasting. It was easy walking distance to many fun places - and driving distance of several others. We had a wonderful stay and our host was attentive and made it easy even though she too was on vacation! There were great eating places nearby as well.

Great house, great location

We loved the house. It was beautiful, even prettier than the pictures showed with a lovely garden and great gathering spaces. The Property manager did a fantastic job with check-in, even touching base while they were traveling internationally. Walking distances to several restaurants and wineries, try Stella, a new restaurant that just opened. Highly recommend the property.

Home away from home

We absolutely loved our stay in Kenwood. We enjoyed all the nearby wineries, and also loved being located between Sonoma and Santa Rosa (and closer to Guerneville, Healdsburg, and Bodega Bay). We hiked nearly every day as we had a variety of choices nearby. The house had everything we wanted or needed, and our communication with the owner was always friendly, quick, and easy. One of our favorite places we've stayed!

Spectacular Wine Country Visit

Truly a 5 Star stay at Hacienda Sonoma. My wife and I were joined by two other wonderful couples and this was their first visit to Wine Country. Beautiful Sonoma Home

Communication with Bridget was a breeze...all her recommendations were spot on.Her home is in a great area...walkable to several wineries and tasting rooms. Home is beautifully decorated and furnished, including a large "chefs kitchen". She had mentioned 4 private chefs. WE hit a homerun with chef Kelly Macdonald, who not only cooked a great meal but was a great story teller as well....great cook and very personable. High marks for Chef Kel. WE were lucky enough to meet the homeowner Bridget as she needed to stop by our last day there. She was lovely and charming....actually she reminded of a much younger Heidi Barrett . Loved everything about this home...highly recommended ...I will be back. The only complaint I had, and I did mention it to Bridget was there seemed to be a problem with wine evaporating pretty quickly in the confines of the house. Otherwise....HIGH marks!

Wine tasting

This house will not disappoint you! Bridget has thought of everything! She is so easy to contact in case you need anything. We contacted one of her recommended chefs and we had Chef Travis prepare us Beef Wellington for a dinner meal. The entire meal was scrumptious! Travis was engaging, and knowledgeable in the pairing of food and wine as well. We will enjoy all the family memories we made here. Thank you again, Bridget!

Fabulous Stay at Hacienda Sonoma

We were looking for a place in Sonoma to celebrate a milestone anniversary with our adult sons and their girlfriends and so glad we chose this property. Bridget is the consummate host, always responding to any enquiries quickly pre-booking and during our stay. She has a beautiful place and perfect for the 6 of us. It's in a quiet neighborhood in Kenwood but it was easy to navigate everywhere. Her house is much bigger then you think based on the listing (around 3000 sq feet). Bridget has such a lovely garden, very relaxing to look at. Everything was very clean when we arrived. The 3 bedrooms and bathrooms were all a good size and very comfortable. Though we didn't cook much other than breakfast, we still loved the gourmet kitchen. One of the highlights of our trip was we had a pizza making contest between the 3 couples using the Italian wood burning oven she has at this property, and we had so much fun using it. She has an outdoor bocce court that is very nice (though we didn't use it much) as we ended up playing billiards upstairs a lot and just listening to music on the whole house sound system. Bridget also has arrangements with 4 different chefs that will come to the house and prepare a meal for you and we were so glad we decided to do this as it was such a fun evening and a delicious meal with Chef Bryan and Sous Chef Denise. If we ever have another family vacation in the Sonoma or Napa area we would definitely try and book this place again.

Fantastic Hacienda

The property was amazing. Clean, well stocked (very well stocked), walkable to some wineries/tasting rooms. Only 25 minutes to downtown Sonoma. The bedrooms were great, as were the kitchen and common areas. It was very nice to sit outside and watch a game on bocce. We would most definitely come back again sometime.
