"The property is in a fantastic location. Walking distance to restaurants and stores. Breakfast was hot and delicious. The room was spacious and wonderful- very comfortable bed and linens. We had a couch that we could sit on and watch a movie very comfortably. The shower in the bathroom was also comfortable and water pressure was great. I am thoroughly pleased with my stay here! "

"I enjoyed the accommodations very well, room was nice, grounds were well kept. I actually left some clothes behind and realized it 2 hours later while traveling back to Georgia. I called the hotel, told them what I'd done and they gathered the stuff up and shipped it to me. Very grateful. "

"This is one of those older motels where you can park in front of your room. I drive a Dodge Ram, and I really appreciated how the spots are wide. I could open my doors fully without bumping vehicles on either side of me. The rooms are kind of basic, but everything worked, including the AC. It was clean and quiet. No issues. I fully recommend the Welch Motel. "
