"The lift was out of order on my second morning when I was leaving. I had four bags with me which in total were too heavy to take down four flights of stairs in one trip. (I'm 76 and was on my own). Surely, lift maintenance should take place after all guests leaving that day had left. Fortunately, after a short wait, a member of staff helped me with my luggage to the car park. Room 407. "Terrible Parking"

"Decent budget-friend hotel though you pay a slight premium for being right on the seafront. They have a parking garage on a first come first serve basis for £8 per 24 hours, though it’s incredibly tight so big cars may struggle. There is lots of paid street parking (£0.95 per 30 minutes) that can often have you parked right outside the hotel if you time it right that runs from 9am to 6pm; max stay 4 hours during those times so it’s good for free overnight if you time it right."

"Excellent view of the sea from our room. Friendly staff. Great latte art and excellent breakfast. Very accommodating. I would definitely stay there again."

Only downside of our stay was the evening bar menu which was limited and if you are staying for a few days could be more varied.For the price charged you would expect a fridge in your room and the safe to be more easily accessible rather than on the floor. Breakfast was excellent and good service."

"we only stayed here for 5 nights but property had everything we needed the kitchen was well equipped with a hob, microwave/oven, dishwasher and washing machine so ideal for longer stays. bathroom had walk in shower with good water pressure. Hotel is situated in the center of the town a short walk from the train station and close to shops,restaurants, pubs and also about 10/15 min walk to Brighton pier "

"The hotel staff were amazing. We were there for the marathon and they allowed us to leave our luggage and then let us return later for a shower. It was an unexpected treat which we were so grateful for as it allowed us to freshen up and not have to drive home sweaty. Thank you"
