"Everything was amazing! First of all the design of every detail from the entrance, to the lobby, the rooms and the roof garden was beautiful. The staff was so helpful and endearing, as well as very adept with English. The location was ideal. The complementary laundry facility was a real bonus. The chef was also great! This was truly our home in Kyoto, and always a pleasure to return to after a busy day in town!"

"It was raining heavily the day that we arrived at Kyoto and our original room had a bit of a musty smell to it. Once we brought it up to the front desk, the manager was so helpful and accommodating and was able to move us to a different room. They even bought us a cake to apologize for the inconvenience which is service we are not typically used to in the US.
