"We were coming up to the UP for a family memorial. I wanted us to be able to be together to support each other or have room to be alone. David and Tammy's home was perfect. The lay out is spacious. They have provided a lot of indoor fun activities as well as outdoor room to roam. I would absolutely consider coming back! Thank you Tammy and David for your quick communication, but more importantly for the use of your lovely home."

"We couldn't have been more pleased! This rental was stocked so completely, and it was decorated and furnished very comfor-tably. Only 1 block from the main street through town, walking to restaurants and the Locks was very doable! Nice to not having to search for public parking! We would strongly recommend this rental! Aimee was quick to reply to a text, nothing serious...Wi-Fi and password mix-up! 10 stars!!"

"I always look forward to coming back to this home on the St Marys River. Perfect location just fifteen minutes from the Soo Locks. Very comfortable with lots of space. Very nice deck with lots of comfortable chairs for freighter watching. The owner is always making improvements. It’s a pleasure to visit."

"This was a great stay for us for a short visit on campus. We didn't need much more than a kitchen and cozy sleep amenities. I would say, it would be helpful to have a picture of what the outside of the stay looks like or have more specific directions for check in. We weren't completely sure where the actual stay was when we arrived and didn't have service to ask. "

"Super cute cottage on Sugar Island. This was my first time on the island. We didn’t have much time to explore, but getting to the cottage was easy. Perfect place for my daughter and I for a weekend of hockey in The Soo. (There for sure would’ve been room for the whole family to stay though.) We will be keeping this place in mind for more hockey trips that fall when it’s open! "

"Nice house in a great location. Upstairs is very clean. We appreciated the availability of fans and the bottle of wine from the host. The fenced yard was great, with a full privacy fence, deck, and picnic table; this was a perfect space for our dog. The entertainment room was a nice space, but has a strong, musty smell. Additionally, the basement doesn’t have any kind of door or gate, making it difficult to keep pets out. "

"We were a little concerned when we drove up to the house because the front area needed to be tidied up. The inside was clean and provided all of the items we needed for our stay. The wifi information was not readily available and we had troube streaming our services on the TV.The views from the living area were phenomenal and the freighters coming by made it even better. All in all I'm glad we chose this listing!the living"

"This is a beautiful VRBO. Very clean and spacious. We had concerns with only 1 bathroom (we had a couple of events to get ready for), but we made it work. Our 2 adult children are "boat nerds" and we all enjoyed watching the freighters go by. We definitely want to stay here again!"
