"Overall, we had a nice stay and enjoyed the property. The only issue we experienced involved communication. Earlier in the day, I received a text message stating that if I needed anything, I could simply reply to that number. Around 8:00 p.m., while my husband and I were out for a walk, my father called to say he had a severe headache. "The hotel is located at a perfect location with just 11 min to Sarasota International hotel, 8 min drive to a beautiful Lido beach and walking distance to a Wholefoods and different restaurants. Hotel offers a great breakfast with made to order omlets. Restaurant on site is a plus. The food was good. The room was clean and spacious. Loved the stay."

"The place itself was nice. I love old style boutique hotels. No complaints on the hotel itself. My only complaint is from the Expedia site. The pictures on the site leads you to believe that some of the rooms have kitchens that don’t actually have kitchens. The standard rooms don’t have kitchens."

"Old Florida style motel property. All staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Adjacent tiki bar was a good time. Great place to unwind after a hot summer day. Live music on Friday night was nice addition. Not fancy, but clean and comfortable for a great price!"

"The entire experience from check-in to check-out was amazing. The staff was extremely helpful and provided exceptional service every step along the way. They were all professional but with a wonderful level of comfort that we felt right at home. We can’t wait to go back!"

"The Keurig machine did not work and it had to be replaced. Then, the bathroom sink was clogged and had to be fixed and both of these things happened within the first hour we got to our room. Also, one of the electrical outlets was inoperable. I was not happy with Hilton run hotels."

"Staff in restaurants were somewhat accommodating. We asked to change our reservation from 2 to 4 people in the Riva restaurant. We were informed they could only take us at 8:10. We said ok, then the manager of Riva said no, not until 9:00 is there an open table. Then the concierge informed me he could get it changed. Not great communication amongst staff. Food in Riva was ok. All in all, it was a good experience."
