"Had a really lovely 4 nights at the inn. Owned by a really lovely and friendly couple. Room was a good size, with a big comfortable bed. Plenty of bedding and towels. You get to use a lot of the property as well as the room. There is a front porch, a back room with amenities for tea/coffee, fridge, ice, microwave etc. You can sit inside there or down the stairs where there is another fridge. There are two areas to sit outside as well under parasols. The inn is minutes from the town. I would stay...

"Flume's End is hands down the most wonderful place we have stayed. Very eclectic, warm, inviting, fun, comfortable, clean and safe. We will make a trip to Nevada City JUST to stay here. It was magical."

"The hotel was charming and full of character which was wanted. It didn’t dissappoint from a comfort level either. The bed and pillows were so comfortable we had amazing sleep. The location of this hotel is perfection. You never have to drive unless you want to check out the state parks. Restaurants and bars and shops are steps from the main entrance. "

"My sister and I loved our stay here in the Gold Miner’s Suite. Enjoyed sitting outside in the porch in the morning and evenings. And the staff was friendly!!"

"We stayed in the basement room (1 queen and bunkbed) which was perfect for our family of 4 with a dog. The room opens up to a big outdoor area, so it's extremely easy to to take the dog out. There was a small fridge and microwave so we had everything we needed for a night's stay. The only thing to know is that you have to go down two flights of stairs to access the room which may be an issue for some. Would definitely stay here again!"

"This was a lovely property in the cutest town. Everyone working there was helpful and kind. The inn is very cute. The room we had was clean, spacious, and nice. They were communicative from beginning through the stay to the end. If I had to choose anything to improve, it would be the mattress (time for a new one), and the initial cleanliness of the shower. Not exactly sure what happened there, but when we asked for room cleaning service, and we returned, the shower was exceptionally clean. We...

"I stayed in Daphne, a cute single room. Perfect for just me and one night. Very clean, plenty spacious. My only complaint was that it was very bright in the room all-night due to lights outside & curtains that werent black out. "

"Very friendly staff, room was large nice and clean. Breakfast need a littlebit attention. Sorry but the eggs are too watered down and the dining area was a bit unsupervised, food items were not restocked as it should've may be the cook needs an assistance I thing that is a job for 2 people not just one. "I need to travel to grass Valley for two months for my nursing program. I found this hotel and decided to book it based on the price and was not expecting much because of the price. I was pleasantly surprised! The unit is very big. When you first walk in, you have a bathroom area to the left and then a fridge and microwave on the right and then you walk down a few stairs into the actual room which is a very large space. It doesn’t come with a lot of extras, but it was definitely worth the price...
