"Check in was easy. We unfortunately got a room on the first floor next to the machine room and it was incredibly noisy at night. By the time we realized the noise coming from the room next to us it was too late to try to ask to move with all of the stuff we had as a family of 4. It sounded like construction vehicles running all night. If you’re looking to stay here do not accept room 127. Otherwise, the hotel is fantastic. "This place is a gem along the 101! Traveling from northern CA to Santa Barbara for a graduation and stayed here 1 night before picking up family at the SB airport the next day. It sits high atop the hill with a view in all directions and, with the adorable retro vibe, feels literally removed from every day life. I just wish I could have stayed a few more nights. I didn't get to eat in the restaurant...just know it isn't open until noon on weekdays but 10 on weekends. Very cute pool area too. My...

"Really enjoyable stay. Front desk people were easy to speak with and friendly. Room was modern and clean. You can get a drink at the bar and sit by the pool. Staff isn't uppity about bathing suit in the bar or a few mins past closing in the hot tub. Safe parking. Only downside is the many (but necessary), latching (locking key card) doors to access the hallways (a room near one of these is noisy as the latches make a loud noise when other guests are going through the hallways)."

"The room was a little small but comfortable. It was clean and well maintained for an older building. The swimming pool area was very nice. We enjoyed sitting out there while having wine, crackers, and cheese. It was very nice to have complementary continental breakfast from the hotel staff.The Price was great and we would definitely stay there again. The location was perfect, it was easy access to all the shops and restaurants. And many restaurants for winetasting. Thank you. "
