"Stayed in Salem right outside of Ranoke for the USA finals National Mnt Biking races for 2025. Location was quiet, clean, modern, nice small cottage set up for family of 4. Good sized front yard area for yard games. Beautiful rose bushes on side of house that had lots of birds and bees visit. Close enough to hiking or biking trails near by via short drive and just far enough away from city to have a quite outside of Ranoke city area.It was too hot for us to use the bonfire but did enjoy the...

"The house was beautiful with an amazing view. Spent a long of time on the dock swimming in the clean, clear lake and sitting by the pool. Would definitely come back!"

"Quaint, historic property that was perfect for our short stay. Well stocked with essential items needed for stay in bathrooms & kitchen. Outdoor seating area and front porch sitting area. Small country store right across the street and very close to downtown restaurants & shopping. Would book again."

"This host did not issue refund. I did not stay & cancelled within time frame through VRBO assistance. VRBO contacted host & asked them to issue a refund & host refused. This “HOTEL” should clearly Not be on VRBO"

"Lovely little cottage with a variety of goats, chickens, turkeys, and peacocks. Kim offered two bags of feed to hand out to the animals. Wifey and daughter loved it. Kim and husband were very responsive to our communications. We didn’t take in much of the area, we traveled for business. Nice mall and restaurants within driving distance, Roanoke about 15-20 minutes away. Overall it was a nice, cozy stay."
