"This was our fourth time at the Pavilion on Northbourne. It’s one of our favourite hotels. The staff are friendly & helpful. The beautiful atrium filled with live plants & trees are just amazing to look at, very resort-style. The bar & restaurant are a great place to relax at the end of the day. Our apartment located in the second building was spacious, clean, and had the most comfortable bed, and fantastic shower. The ground-level free car park is a huge bonus. "All the staff are welcoming and helpful. Our room was clean, quiet and well appointed. Parking is provided. Little packets of biscuits to have with a cup of tea or coffee were appreciated. There is a kitchenette including a microwave, crockery and cutlery as well as a lovely onsite restaurant. We have stayed here twice in the last few months and will stay there again the next time we are visiting Yass."

"Arrived late and received a courtesy call from staff advising of parking options and entry instructions which were easy and efficient. Easy stroll to restaurants and supermarket for dinner and snacks. Pool looked so inviting, sad we didn’t bring our togs. Room was spacious and clean with a comfy bed. We were just passing through, a shame we couldn’t stay. "

"The room was clean and a good size, comfortable beds and good air conditioning. I thought it could do with a couple of comfortable chairs and the remote didn’t work for the TV probably only needed new batteries"

"Nice size family room, however needs more attention to detail in the room. Ie our room was missing pans to cook, the hair dryer was broken, missing a few glasses. Also our room wasn't cleaned despite putting the sign up asking for a clean. However the location was really good, right next to restaurants, fast food, shopping, public transport, rooms were clean. The help yourself cupboard for supplies ie teas, milk, towels etc is a great idea!"

"Facility appears to have modernised recently. Very nice to walk into the room. Water scalding hot for shower, so that was a beautiful surprise. Riya at reception - outstanding. Asset to the place. Nice BBQ area in full view of room. Could leave kids in room and felt safe about it"

"We stayed in the Garden Room, in mid May. The room is very rustic and while it would be great for a stay in spring or summer, we were very happy to only be there one night. It was comfortable (great bed) but very cold. I would suggest looking very closely at the photos on the website, and perhaps staying in a room in the house if you have a couple of nights in Yass."

"Pleasant reception staff on arrival. Room a good size and had a great view over the lake. Would stay there again if in the area. My pet peeve is where the range of pump soap/conditioner etc are mounted in poor locations. It was difficult for me to use the soap dispenser beside the hand basin as it had been installed against the frame of the mirror. It was no deal breaker, just a peeve!"

"Positives: Very quiet and peaceful. Plenty of onsite parking. Negatives: Had to go up and down the outside stairs in the pouring rain to take my luggage up to the room from my car. Got quite wet. The mattress was very firm. Did not sleep very well the first few nights. The grout between a lot of the tiles in the shower cubicle was riddled with black mould. A good dose of bleach or domestos was definitely needed. The carpet is in need of a clean. There were many dirty patches and spots from...
