"This apartment was a fantastic find! It's super convenient with a supermarket within walking distance, making it easy to grab groceries. While the gym was a bit of a hassle and only offered two free days before a charge, we still managed to make it work. The location is absolutely ideal for exploring the surrounding areas with a rental car, making day trips a breeze. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely choose to stay here again on our next visit! And the view 😍😍😍"

"The property felt like home away from home. It was close to the city 15 mins by car. The grocery store was across the street within walking distance. The apartment was spacious. It had all the amenity needed as my home would have, cook top, refrigerator, nice closet for storage, comfy sofa, shared washing machine and dryer in all floors. The property manager was quick in answering all questions no matter today or night. I did not want to leave. Best experience I have had staying away from home....

"I did not get my check in instructions ahead of time and was locked out on the first night. I had to pay 244 euros for a hotel. Neither summer day nor Expedia would refund me. Fraud as they blamed each other. The internet did not work in my room and the person who responded could only say “good luck”. Horrible place to stay. Would not recommend either summer day or Expedia. "

"Wonderful stay at the Freyja Guesthouse and Suites for my family of four. Clean and comfortable family suite with a private bathroom. There is a lovely lounge with snacks and drinks to purchase. The owners were lovely and very accommodating. Location can't be bit in the center of Reykjavik and in walking distance of all main attractions and restaurants. Would highlighly recommend."

"Check-in was a bit confuse due to the address of the property, Cleaniess: The 2 bathroom sinks in both bathroon has a funky smell. Other than that the bathrooms are cleaned. The wood floor is dirty and a bit old that need to be updated. Host: Very nice, very responsive and accommodation for us to check in a bit early on arrive date and check out a bit late on depart date. Location: very convinience close to shopping groceries, restaurant and bus stop."

"The room and the hotel are lovely. There were a few issues that we wish had been better. The TV kept blanking out, was hard to navigate channels and was way too low to bee seen from bed while watching the news! Minor, but worth mentioning. The LARGE picture windows had drapes that would not block the light from the corners requiring us to wear sleep masks every night. Due to the masks, we didnt even mind the auto turn on bathroom lights coming on upon entry at night!!! The breakfast was...

"Just had a 3-night stay at ION City. Staffs were all friendly and amazing. Location is in the core downtown tourism area of reykjavic so that could be pro or cons depending on what you like. It's a little bit loud outside especially if the room is towards the street, but window is reasonably sound-proof. One issue was that when I first arrived there were a few blood drops in the bath towels, but after I raised that issue the room service was all good for the rest of the stay. Overall 4/5. "

"Really cool place. Staff was completely amazing. Above and beyond. And the breakfast was one of the most amazing I’ve ever had! I’d go back just for that!! The berry juice was so good, and so much variety. The restaurant looks out over the lake. Hot tub was just ok. Area around the hotel very pretty. Room was very spacious and well appointed, if dated in style. Removed one star for a musty smell and the very weird decor, including a strange and out of place Mexico theme. "

"What a fabulous place to stay. We really enjoyed our time there and found it a convenient location to walk to downtown Reykjavík while also being close enough to free street parking. The only “issues” we had were with the trash/recycling, as we couldn’t find the key card that was supposed to be in the apartment, and we were unclear on whether or not the there was a cleaning service. We were there for over two weeks and didn’t notice any cleaning or changing of towels. These were really minor...
