"The hotel was clean, comfortable, and very well maintained. The staff was friendly, helpful, and made the stay enjoyable. The biggest downside is the noise on Friday and Saturday nights. If you're staying over the weekend, I recommend requesting a room away from the West Building. There was loud music and drumming that continued until around midnight, making it difficult to relax or get to sleep early. Overall, it was a good stay, but choosing the right room location can make a big difference."

"Basic lodging that met the needs of our party of 7. We were in building 53 (upstairs) and there is no real lounging space but the bedrooms are spacious. Basic soap provided and some tea/coffee. Beds were comfortable but as others have mentioned the floors can be loud but slippers are provided to help the noise. The building is close to the main area where shops and restaurants are so definitely loud at times…earplugs can help."

"We found the apartment’s lighting was too dark because of dark color of walls and not enough of lighting fixtures. Besides the fixtures are spot lights type so that certain areas were not covered. No headboard lights. The room is quite decent and very clean. Ample space for two people. Location is quite good, closes to the freeway leading to downtown Reykjavik."

"The apartment is very conveniently located with lots of restaurants within walking distance. There is also a P4 parking with a 5 min walk away. The areas just in front of the apartment are all P2. We never parked in the building so don’t know how that is. We never had an issue finding parking close. The rooms are clean and having a washer and dryer was a lifesaver. We never heard any noises from the neighbors so I am assuming the walls are very well insulated."

The location is excellent and probably one of the biggest highlights of this property. It is very convenient and well-situated, making it easy to explore the area. "Great location. Good restaurant for both breakfast and dinner. Expensive, but everything in Iceland was expensive."

"The apartment was very well appointed. We stayed in the superior suite with myself and two adult sons. Everything we needed was there. We did not actually cook but did prepare some breakfast and lunch things. I was concerned about the lack of front desk but it was totally smooth and they were available by phone. A previous post mentioned no deadbolt on the inside and it’s true, there is no secondary lock however, I felt very safe. Perfect location."

"The apartment was perfect for a family of 4. The host texted the building and room codes in advance, and it was easy to find The Swan with signage on the building. While the lobby and hallways seemed very industrial, once inside the apartment, it was lovely, clean and bright. There is a grocery store within walking distance, which was great for us.
