Each of the 9 rooms is themed to the writer or one of his friends. We stayed in the DH Laurence room. It was complete with some of this DH’s books, as well as many other wonderful literary works to sample either in the lovely outdoor space or the the beautiful living room. It was an impromptu stay and we were so lucky to have the Colorado Room……totally delightful, beautifully decorated, super-comfy twin beds (pushed together), but the biggest plus was the covered corner patio surrounded by lush gardens. Four course breakfasts in the garden area were charming and delicious. This is a “must-stay” inn to go to and enjoy."

"OMG this was the cutest, quaintest little place! I love a good, new fancy hotel but there's something about these older, classic, individually owned places I adore! The staff is beyond helpful and incredibly friendly! The grounds felt like I was in a little villa in Spain or something. The included made to order breakfast is amazing and we sat on the covered patio listening to great music. I will be back!! I highly recommend! Oh, and it's easy walking to the Plaza!"

"Nicely refurbished motel with covered parking right next to the door and has a skylight in the room - the natural light was wonderful. The room was very clean and odor free. Everything worked as it should and the bed was comfortable. Due to the U shaped layout of the motel it feels safe and a lot of the road noise is blocked. The road passing this motel is very busy but I didn't find the road noise to be a problem and I had the second room in from the road. However exiting the hotel parking lot...

"This hotel located right next to the main plaza, which is great. and close to all the good restaurant."

"We really enjoyed our 6 night stay for our family of 4. The location is excellent and you can walk to many restaurants and shops. The staff were extremely helpful, and the common areas and pool were especially beautiful. The only slight negative was that the bathrooms were a little dated, but everything was very functional and comfortable and we spent most of our free time on site at the pool and in the lounge areas anyways. Overall, a 10/10 stay and we would go back."
