"We had a very relaxing stay at this property which was perfect for us - an elderly couple. We had everything we needed and fantastic views. We stayed 4 days and cooked every night. "We loved staying in this cabin. Not only is it by a river (a huge plus for us) but it is roomy. Inside, the kitchen is great: stove, microwave full-size refrigerator, plenty of dishes & flatware, pots & pans, dishwasher, and spices. When you close the bathroom door, the bedroom is really dark in the morning....great for sleeping in! The wraparound porch is fantastic with a round dining table, rocking chairs and gliders. "To start its a storage building not a tiny cabin. It looks like host or someone is staying there while they are working on house next door. So close you can see in windows. He was working that day, so no peace and quiet. Air didnt cool. Stayed 5 hours and went home. Worst birthday gift ever. Dont waste your time or money."

"Overall, great stay!!! Pre-stay communication was spot-on with the info provided. Not that the hosts could do anything about it, but the weather was spectacular. Proximity to the Blue Ridge Parkway is outstanding. The cabin itself is well appointed and cozy. It has a great variety of kitchen ware, I did not need anything extra with a 3 night stay and making all my food there at the cabin. The bed was so comfortable (downstairs) and the tub was a treat. Would 100% stay again"
