"My wife and I loved our stay at Sofitel Queenstown. The staff were amazing, very welcoming and efficient. Our room was spacious, very Comfortable and well appointed. It is located perfectly, just a two minute stroll to the absolute centre of Queenstown. I would absolutely recommend Sofitel Queenstown and will definitely stay there again on my visit. "

"Great modern hostel on the lakefront a short 5 mins from the centre of queenstown. Good rooms and clean hot showers. Comfy lounge with pool table. Parking can be tricky - like most places. A hot tub or sauna would be a great addition to the hostel a day of skiing!"

"The property has very high standard and is unlike your usual motel. It is very clean and nicely renovated, it even has a heated bathroom tile which was an absolute life saver. The other stuff we found great was the amount of wall seating around the room, we never knew we needed them but they are just very very handy because we come back from skiing and there are just a lot of gears that we need to take in and out for packing purposes. Love this motel and ould come back again. The price...

"We stayed here 16 years ago and it seems the furniture and fixtures & fittings were the same. Our L shape sofa had a stain. Couldn’t work out how to use the gas heater as it kept turning off. Comfortable stay and unbeatable lake side view. Dishwasher, washing machine and dryer were very useful. "

"The location is perfect, within the heart of Queenstown CBD - establishments are easily walkable. Room is clean, fresh smelling. The hotel uses good tech for controlling lights, A/C, etc. Staff are very helpful. Will definitely come back."

"We had a pleasant stay at this hotel! The staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming, the room was clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect for exploring the area. The bus stop right in front of the hotel made getting around incredibly convenient, and we loved how close the shops and restaurants were—just a short walk away. It was a great experience overall – highly recommended!"
