"Berry nice room"

"The location is very good, close to small stores and restaurants, but off the main drag. Valet parking is expensive, but there is quite a bit of free street parking close by. We parked on the street, but the valet was very helpful when we wanted to be sure where we parked was OK. This is a very solid 3+ star hotel, and we would definitely stay there again."

"Check in and out were easy. The use of a keypad instead of key cards was very nice. The ac worked very well and the shower got hot quickly. The night staff was not very aware of things. At one point, we were stuck between floors in the elevator for 15 minutes. We tried using the call and alarm buttons but no one responded. Eventually they restarted the elevator for someone waiting in the lobby, which was terrifying. When we eventually exited the response was “oh you were in there?”"

"The Paris Suites Hotel was shabby chic and fun. We enjoyed staying there. The 2 nights we spent there were comfortable, relatively quiet, and clean. "

"This hotel is using fake pictures on Expedia. The room has cute pictures of a vintage vibe set up but when you check in it looks like a jail cell. The rooms list nonsmoking and a bathtub and it had neither. The entire room smelled like cigarettes and had an ashtray in it. The hallway smelled even worse. There was a dead smeared fly and brown stains on the wall. I am not a confrontational person and stupidly assumed that Expedia would have my back when I showed how blatantly false this listing...

"Our first stay was no shampoo they did not refill . Not enough for 4 of us. Theyre poor in english i could hardly understand them. Breakfast said 6am and the guy on the front desk did not answer us if ready or not. Until we left at 6:45 without having anything. Our second stay before heading back home was not that awful. I mean were not expecting anything anymore coz pretty much our first stay says it all"

"This was apparently the 1st week this hotel at this location was open. Since I booked on hotels.com, it took the staff a little bit to treat my reservation check-in correctly, but afterwards it was alright. The room was good, but as one of the people booking a room the 1st week, there was no garbage bin or can in the room (odd), I had to call for the TV remote, and the ice machine wasn’t working. "The hotel is well-maintained, attractive and with helpful, friendly staff. However -- most of the reason we rent hotel rooms is for a room with a bed. The mattress in my room was probably the most uncomfortable mattress I've slept on in my adult life, rivaling the crappy mattresses we got in our college dorm rooms. Lumpy and soft, sagging in the center, no support... unacceptable, and outrageous given the price of the room. My two companion travelers, including the one that slept in the other...
