"We took our 18 yr old here on a trip of Virginia and NC. This house was perfectly located for the hikes and tubing activities we wanted to do. Skyline drive was cool even though it was foggy and drizzling on and off all day. Into Charlottesville one day for tubing on Rivanna river. So glad we have the washer and dryer. Super clean and had extra things like kleenex, coffe and shampoo. Really felt like home. "

"Everything was pretty much exactly what we expected. No major issues with the cabin, nice views, quiet location & dog friendly (huge plus!)It was the perfect size, they had plenty of dishes in the kitchen & some seasonings to use. A few pans looked like they weren’t cleaned all the way but we just rewashed them before use, no big deal. Huge dvd selection was awesome! Water pressure in the shower was nice & bed was comfortable. The only thing that could have used some improvement was the lighting...

"Amazing property and cabin, just what we needed for a long weekend getaway! Definitely will book again. "

"A beautiful cabin and a responsive, helpful host. One thing I do want to call out is that the listing's callout that you should have AWD/4WD is somewhat underselling the challenge of a few of the hills and turns. It's a 1.6 mile, single lane gravel road to the property, with two sharp downhill (or uphill, when leaving) turns. The quality of one of the hills in particular has a lot of deep grooves, probably from people going up it in wetter weather, that can make navigating a little challenging....

"Beautiful property! Excellent experience for us and a few family members who came in to play some of the awesome games. We were in town for my Mother's funeral and appreciated having this extra space. Everything from toiletries to snacks was provided. Plan on staying here again next time we're in town. Thank you"

"The cabin was perfect for an overnight stay. It was so secluded and the woods were beautiful. We were able to walk to the winery/brewery down the road and spent a lovely night by the fire. We were comfortable sleeping in the cabin with the windows open. The farm was very cool although the llama (alpaca?) didn't seem to like me :) The owner was amazing and went above and beyond when we left something behind. Would definitely recommend as a unique overnight stay. "

"Property was in excellent condition and very clean.Owner did a great job of communicating how to utilize the features of the house. Very close to shopping and amenities. Will definitely stay there again. "

"The house is charming and comfortable. We upstairs bedroom has a great balcony and jacuzzi tub. It’s a little off the beaten path but great for a weekend away for some hiking. "

"Amazing hosts. Responsive! Everything was great! Lovely dreamy location right next to a serene river. Coffee in the morning and cocktails at night had an ambience like no other. Will book again!!"

"We had a lovely weekend away. The property was well maintained, the openness of the house and interior were nice, and we enjoyed the deck, fire pit and hot tub. We would stay there again! "

"The Natchez was great! Exactly as it was described online. Comfortable with all amenities. It was a great location for nearby wineries we visited over 2.5 days. Well appointed kitchen and toiletries too. Definitely will be back and would recommend to others! Cheers."

"Beautiful property with easy access to trails at the national park. The hot tub was perfect and the property was very clean and well appointed. The only thing i could suggest is covering the firewood. We were looking forward to the firepit, but it rained the night we arrived and we couldn't use the wood for the rest of the trip. But that was a very minor inconvenience and there was plenty to do outside of having a campfire. Would recommend to family and would stay again!"

"One (probably the smallest) of several lodgings on the property. Overall, a pretty cool place to stay. The whole unit has a subtle sway to rock you to sleep. Personally, I loved it. We stayed in 90 degree weather and the A/C was a LIFESAVER. My only real complaint was one of the other guests in the castle kept leaving the common kitchen a bit messy. Thinking about coming back and trying the hobbit house. We pretty much kept to ourselves, but there are plenty of common areas to hang out."
