"A beautiful old house that was welcoming. Excellent location - parking was street or structure but easy to find. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. "

Furnishings, paint, etc. could use some sprucing up. Amenities previously offered are no longer and we miss the old gift shop. We still enjoyed our stay and the Christmas decorations."

"The hotel was so convenient being right in the middle of downtown. We chose this hotel because it was walking distance to the Fremont theater. What made the stay really nice was the hospitality and service we received. We had an issue that we mentioned to the manager who happened to be nearby and he gave us service that was above and beyond our expectations to make up for the problem. We would stay here every time we come to San Luis Obispo. Also the Bistro food was excellent!"
