"This was a very special stay for us. My wife and I were traveling with my Brother and his wife for a vacation. We only spent (1) night there due to budget constrains, but it was well worth it. My wife and sister-in-law really enjoyed “High Tea” the next day and my brother and I explored the area and had a great luck at an Irish Pub nearby. The location is great. "We typically stay at a similar competitor hotel when we come to Victoria but we found the Pendray was superior for a similar price. The breakfast was inventive and delicious and the rooms were large and quaint. We will be back."

"The double room was spacious. The bathroom had a deep tub as well as a shower. The beds were very comfortable. On checkout day, they held our bags so we could continue enjoying the city. Would definitely stay here again!"

"Steven was awesome for our check in and Chris was wonderful for checking out. The room itself was spartan. It had the normal amenities one would expect, and the bed was comfy. Breakfast was good enough with a solid selection of hot or cold options. "

"I loved the location and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I was grateful for the valet parking as the hotel is not in a safe area at this time. The hotel did not email me a copy of the invoice as they said they would. Overall it's a convenient place to stay"

"Great hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are a good size and have air conditioning. If you’re staying here, it’s best to come out of the main door by reception and walk to Government Street to go downtown rather than going down Douglas. Sports bar onsite and complementary tea and fruit offered for breakfast. Would definitely stay here again! "

"This was a truly outstanding experience. The front end staff were friendly, informative and professional. The flavouring for the water that was provided was a very nice touch. The room was spacious with well thought out lighting, being able to open a window for fresh ocean air and to hear the birds was relaxing. Short walk across the bridge you find many shops and restaurants making this property very convenient. Thank you for a beautiful stay."
