"Had a great stay, wonderful place, roomy and spacious and had everything we needed including a mall kitchen area. Friendly and very helpful host. Safe and quiet, this guest house is on the center on Sintra. Great breakfast. Highly recommend, would stay here again. "

"The hotel was a boutique hotel with beautiful surroundings. We had a lovely one-night stay. The lady staff at the front desk was very helpful and lovely. The lunch was good, and they accommodated our diet restrictions at the restaurant. The breakfast was not included, so we paid extra for it with limited options. The lady at the restaurant was very nice, She was able to get us cooked eggs and coffee in the morning. The hotel should offer more breakfast options for the guests for the cost we...

"We made a last minute decision to visit Sintra rather than spend a second night in Lisbon. We booked Villa Estefânia due to its proximity to attractions and availability of parking. Parking is safe but it's street side on a fairly narrow one way street and availability can be limited. We needed a car to get from the villa to the town and attractions but it was well placed, clean and convenient. The owner made a lovely breakfast for us and was very personable. "Gorgeous property! Our first stay, but we have stayed at their sister resort (Marmoris Palace) several times. As is the standard for all Marmoris properties, decadently appointed rooms with the most lavish customs drapery, bedding, and furnishings. And of course, gorgeous marble everywhere! Excellent location with full access to the serene grounds of Marmoris Palace and the pool, as well as evening wine and cheese with entertainment (including their lovely peacocks!) Very gracious service....

"A quaint and charming place to stay. Great parking. Easy to walk to the historic district and easy access to train/bus station. Property needs some overall general upkeep. The shower leaked flooding the bathroom floor as the caulking was missing. The sealing strip was moldy and needs replacing. Everything else was very clean. Breakfast was ok. Pastries and breads delicious but vegetables old and dry. Awesome to have a carafe of coffee and hot milk to enjoy a nice cuppa or 2 in the morning. "

"This is charming old property with a personal touch. The staff are lovely and helpful, and the house is full of character and - within the inevitable limits of an ancient building - well appointed. Very comfortable beds and effective (and needed!) aircon. The location is wonderful, although coming to Sintra by car is a mistake! Taxis and Uber are plentiful and cheap. I would leave the car behind next time. "

"Awesome location. A bit of a walk from downtown Sintra but it had a big public parking lot right next door. We parked the car and walked downtown and to all of the castles. The room was extremely small but it was all we needed. Try "pasta de nata" frim the coffee shop next door......amazing!"
