"If you don’t like dogs, especially off leash dogs in the elevator, this is not the property for you.
The staff was very supportive in finding a room with an earlier check in and a king bed.
My Expedia reservation was misleading when trying to book a king, and ending up with 2 queens.
With a three night stay why have to ask for a towel change.

"Our bed in the Patrick House was very comfortable and the sheets were incredibly soft. The breakfasts (strata, ham and cheese pie, apple raisin quiche) included fresh fruit (strawberry, pineapple, grapes, cantaloup) and delicious lemon poppyseed loaf bread. "This was our second stay at this property (in a different apartment), and once again it did not disappoint. The space was clean, comfortable, and the kitchen was stocked with basic cooking items, though spices were minimal. The location is a big plus—easy walking distance to downtown restaurants—and we would definitely stay here again."

"BEWARE OF THE NON DISCLOSURE OF $80 CLEANING OR TOWEL FEES - ADDED AT CHECK OUT.
We booked our stay through Expedia, where the apparent "$80 towel fee" was buried deep in the terms and conditions. It wasn't until I got home that I noticed the extra charge. After three days of going back and forth with Expedia & Historic Berkeley, I was finally able to get the cleaning fee refunded from Expedia, even though the monies were collected at the hotel.
The hotel was apologetic but placed the blame...
