"Beautiful facilities with friendly staff and deserves to be recognized. Plenty of restaurant options. Only downside is had some difficulties making a restaurant reservation through website (also no walk ins) and pool was open only accesible through paying extra for Spa. Not necessarily technologically friendly; more of an old school approach and feel. Will definitely stay again on any future stays. This hotel is more of a retreat from the busy Tokyo so plan accordingly."

"We booked for a group of 8 adults and a toddler for 3 nights. It was a nice change from tiny hotel rooms! Each floor has its own bathroom, kitchen, king bed, sofas, and Japanese style sleeping mats. Each floor also has a washer/dryer and projector screen. Very spacious! It was also very clean, including the outdoor spaces. Check in and check out were a breeze. The quiet location was great. "Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Baba Suite. The private steam room and the cold bath were not things we considered when we booked but they were excellent additions. The Baba suite balcony is huge and provides an urban Japanese feel as it looks out at the Big Box mall. The star of this hotel is the breakfast though. "Good location, right in Shinjuku - easy to get to anywhere you want to, right next to the subway and within walking distance to many parts of Shinjuku. I stay here for business normally, very reasonably priced - so you get what you pay for in a way - the rooms are not big, but big enough to be comfortable for one or two people.
