"The hotel is in the perfect spot, right in the harbour. The room was massive and well equipped with a lovely view. The building is obviously extremely old which has its limitations on decor etc but we had an amazing time there. Would recommend."

"When I arrived very early, they made my check in so easy and let me have the room well before lunchtime no extra cost. The food was excellent. I had breakfast and evening meal there. "We arrived at the hotel late and upon arrival had a sign saying under renovations. No pool/spa/gym/food. Room was ok. However interconnecting door unlocked which puzzled the staff as to why we would want to lock it. 2nd night bar then closed and had to request more milk pots as no laundry service/restock had taken place. Overall disappointed with the stay and feel it should be closed during renovations. The resort could be amazing but needs a lot of repairs. For what was a basic room...

"The hotel was awful, dirty. Couldn't have dinner hotel to busy. Breakfast had to be pre ordered, then one breakfast was forgotten. Had to keep asking for items. The poached eggs were rock hard. The whole experience was a nightmare. Found cut dirty toe nails on the bed. cobwebs in the bedroom. Pool area was terrible. Hotel needs a complete refurb. Some photos couldn't be uploaded. "

"We had a lovely stay here, the lock wasn’t working from the outside but was fixed within half an hour, brilliant! Beds are comfortable and the sofa. A good size cottage the bathroom was abit tight but there are public showers on site aswell would definitely come back here. There’s a park on site aswell, laundry room a bar and reception are very helpful. I did have to drive to places Harlyn beach has calmer sea and was beautiful, few minutes drive away and treyarnon rock pool beach also a few...

"We enjoyed a wonderful stay in the 'Nauti' Shepherd's hut. It was so cosy, warm, clean and immaculately presented. The bed was super comfortable and everything we could have needed was provided. A great location, with a peaceful and relaxing countryside setting. Great communication from the hosts. We will definitely be back in the future. Highly recommended for a cornish get away. "

"The hotel was good but the room we has was 2 flights up with 2 very heavy fire doors. It was very hot with only a small window to a flat roof that didn't open more than 3 inches. No phone in room to communicate with reception. Nothing in the immediate area outside the hotel other than a 10 minute? very steep hill to port isaac. There was nowhere to sit and relax out of the heat other than the bar."
