"Great hotel for those who want a little more of an upscale stay but wouldn't recommend for your average traveler. Its a great location, the room was clean, and the staff was super friendly but we were definitely put off by being basically forced to pay for valet and both getting food poisoning from the restaurant located at the hotel. Read the hotels restaurant reviews and you'll see what we mean, we of course learned that a little too late. I would recommend this hotel to someone who maybe...

It was an impromptu stay and we were so lucky to have the Colorado Room……totally delightful, beautifully decorated, super-comfy twin beds (pushed together), but the biggest plus was the covered corner patio surrounded by lush gardens. Four course breakfasts in the garden area were charming and delicious. This is a “must-stay” inn to go to and enjoy."

The thing we didn’t like the most about the hotel is there are no mirrors no mirrors out in the hallways or in the room. There was one mirror in the room over the sink. Nothing else in the room. My friend is 5 foot , to petite to reach the mirror at all. If I did not bring a hand mirror, she would not have had anything to put her make up on with no mirror to help get you dressed and like I said no...
