"We stayed to be close to an event we were working. The house is listed correctly. Cold AC and excellent communication with the very nice owner. It was clean and had everything you needed. It is actually a bigger space than the pictures portray. It is a bit dated but has very interesting decor, clean and comfortable. We would stay here again."

"I'll be honest, this place doesn't leave the best first impression but it really grew on me after the first night and did become a cozy retreat after doing touristy things in STL. Has everything you need at a cheaper price than a hotel room, it's easy to get to the building, private parking spot, the buliding itself has a keypad entry so feels secure, nice neighborhood, and even has a small area out back for dogs. With that said, I probably wouldn't stay here with more than 2 adults unless...

"Very comfortable beds, convenient location for graduation stay. Loved that it had blackout shades for better sleep. Kitchen had everything we needed. There is one full bathroom and one bedroom on the first floor (not ensuite). That bedroom had a crib and pack-and-play so would be good for people with small children. There are 3 bedrooms and one full bathroom on the 2nd floor. There both a garage and on-street parking. "The rented space indoors was clean and well-appointed. The host communication was just fine and the pool was great. The kids really enjoyed it! The gas grill with dedicated pipeline was a very nice touch. The only thing that struck us as a little odd was that we did not understand from the description online that the rental included the finished basement only and that the second floor of the property was occupied by a co-hostess. In our case, this was not a problem at all. However, other VRBO...

"Stayed only one night for a law school graduation. The apartment was clean and had properly locking doors. The bed was hard as a rock. Zero give, and my spouse and I both had aching shoulders and backs the next day. The biggest issue, something I have NEVER in years of VRBO rentals had to do, was submit not only my photo ID but also an additional selfie to get access to the unit. This was NOT disclosed in the listing (only said you MAY need to provide additional ID), and was incredibly intrusive...

"The carpet in the bedroom and rugs throughout are absolutely filthy. I wore shoes the whole time I was there. The washer and dryer work well, but aren't vented to the outside, so the tiny closet is full of old lint, and multiple upper walls in the apartment have lint on them. There are cracks on almost every wall, along with badly repaired spots painted in a different shade. There are mysterious stains on the walls in the bathroom. It doesn't appear that a deep clean has been done since the...

"It was a nice apartment, there were 4 minor issues. The people on the first floor were smoking weed in their apartment and you could smell it all throughout and they kept leaving the secure outer door unlocked and open to everyone. Parking was a mess and we could not park in front or the building. The listing that I originally looked at was on the lower level but ended up on an upper floor and the stairs were hard on our aging dog, this information should be made nice and visible on the...
