"The wonderful, friendly, helpful staff absolutely made this visit. The rooms are small but modernized and clean—if you’ve stayed in hotels in Europe you it will feel familiar. The lobby and bar / restaurant are gorgeous but the stairs and hallways are a bit worn down. Which can come with the territory in historic hotels so I didn’t really mind.
