"Check in was really slow, I wasn't told about the building or where my room is. I was given the wrong key card, so I had to wait another half an hour for the error to be corrected. I wasn't given access to the facilities/leasure areas as the property description advertised. There was no guide of how to use the key card or an fire escape map in my room. Over all I am disapionted. "

"Helpful and friendly welcome from the staff. It is a great budget-friendly place to get your head down for the night. It is very central but was tucked away enough to feel safe. Be aware that it can be quite cold. There was some litter left on the floor in my room when I arrived. Bathroom was lovely and clean, however. "I booked hotel on the same day of the stay. It turns out a form must be filled in and completed prior to being allowed in just the hotel reception. Upon finding this detail out as I arrived at the hotel, it was quite the disappointing experience that cannot be matched by having an on site host. Once the information was submitted, followed by a secondary transaction of a significant sum in the reception to act as damage waiver, we were finally granted access to our room. "Breakfast was ok but poor quality ingredients. We had a terrible dining experience. Starter ok - We waited one hour for our mains. My salmon served on a bed of rice was so dried out it was inedible. Looked like it had been left under the heat lamp for ages. Crispy and very dry. You could lift the whole dish up in one go - horrible. My partners cod loin wasnt any better and his veg was actually black and burnt. Amazed they actually served it to us. Four of the desert items were off the menu and...

"We were in the rooftop attic room. Pro - hotel is in a very good location, convenient for exploring the town easily. The bathtub and shower were fantastic, great water pressure and temperature. The room itself was clean on arrival. Con - the white furniture and bed headboard are quite stained and filthy looking. The hotel owner needs to get it professionally cleaned or replaced.
