"Our room was in the basement which we did not realize until we arrived. The room itself felt a bit dingy with a hodgepodge of furnishings. The air-conditioning was loud and rattling so much so that we had to turn it off in order to sleep. Fortunately, the heat wasn’t too bad so we were able to deal with it. "The sheets and pillow cases where not clean they had been flipped over. I asked for fresh linen and was told that he didn't have access to the clean linen. I refuse to lay on covers that have been slept on etc by someone else, I finally got the fresh linen and changed the bedding myself"

"The staff were very friendly and helpful with suggestions on things to do. It is a beautiful historic building - which is exactly why we booked it. It’s on a gorgeous tree lined street, close enough to walk to Bourbon Street without being at the center of the craziness at night. And the pool area was wonderful!"

"The reason it’s priced low is because of the condition of the hotel. The staff were very nice, WiFi was spotty but that’s in most hotels and if your in NOLA you are not in the hotel much anyways besides to sleep so this provided exactly that. I traveled solo and had no issues. Do not stay here if you are expecting luxury."

"Clean room, very nice place within walking distance and easy to catch the trolly"

"We stayed one night passing through. This place is older but a charming older. Private gated parking which helps keeps your car safe. The room and restroom itself was ok. But for the night it was good. The pool area looked nice. It’s not bad. I liked it."
