"We had a great stay at the Happy as a clam cottages. The cottage was very nice and clean. Being able to eat a few meals in using the full kitchen, BBQ was a plus. The location was perfect for our interests (it is very close to 2 very fine oyster farms/restaurants, several state parks, and a short drive to both the bay and oceanside of the peninsula. We would highly recommend."

"We had an amazing time! The cabin is clean and spacious, you’re within walking distance of many restaurants and the beach. In fact, we rarely even used our car. Can’t wait to come back and stay again! "

"I feel lucky to have found this place on VRBO for the End of the World Rod Run weekend. The home is quaint, comfortable, and very well maintained, with ocean views and a private path to the beach. It offers everything you could want for a relaxing stay — a private hot tub, BBQ, and fire pit.Although attached to a larger home, it sits down a private driveway and feels peaceful and secluded. The owners were incredibly kind and easygoing — which was a blessing since we had an unexpected car issue...

"The house is very well supplied. From Kitchen appliances to beach supplies it's all there. There's room for everyone and the beach is just a few steps out the back door. The house is close to shopping and restaurants. We had the best family vacation yet! I would recommend this property to all of my friend (and I have). Loved our experience!"

"Not necessarily beach view on bottom floor but close to the beach and visiting deer. Easy drive or walk to town. Lots of beds. No cable but has access to Live tv. Good Wi-Fi. Quiet place. Pretty soundproof. "

"My husband and our little dog had an amazing long weekend at this lovely home! Everything is so clean, and we are both clean freaks, so that is really saying something. Unfortunately our grown son's couldn’t make it, so it was just us in this huge house, but we had an absolutely wonderful stay. We played lots of pool and cribbage, and took lots of longs walks on the beach with our little dog. Kim is a wonderful host and they really have thought of everything in the house. We loved it! "

"The view is what makes this property! The management company is top notch too.. the property interior is dated... furniture/flooring/fixtures are 20 yrs old. Bedding and towels are clean,new and comfortable (reflection of the good management company). The property is on a hill so driveway and parking spaces are steep."

"The place is amazing. The view of the shore is picturesque, like something you would see in a romance film. You are close enough to open the windows at night and have the ocean waves rock you to sleep. The property is fully stocked with kitchen tools to cook with and the kitchen itself is large enough to be comfortable. The property even provided binoculars to take in the local flora and fauna. "

"It was a very relaxing and pleaseant stay. Proximity to the beach made it easy to go down and enjoy beachcombing and the view. It was close enough to Long Beach to go and enjoy the shops and eateries within minutes. The house was clean, quiet and very well stocked woth essentials. We would recommend this house, it was a very reasonable rate for the overall value!"

"Cozy studio condo on the third floor with an elevator, excellent location and beautiful view of the ocean."

""Wow!" is what was said by the brother that didn't stay with us last year; the rest of us agreed it was as wonderful this year as the last. Clean, beautifully decorated, kitchen had all we needed to make a couple meals, along with dog bowls and towels for our pup. Of course, the shuffleboard and gaming console added to our fun! "

"We had a wonderful weekend, the only thing that bothered us was the smell of the water. We bought some bottled water for drinking and enjoyed our weekend. Everything was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the labels made everything easy to find."
