Beautiful bayside cottage

This is the 4th time we have stayed here in less than a year. So cozy, clean, and comfortable and views that are ever changing with the tides. The owner is very quick to respond and so thoughtful. Our happy place.

Cozy Cottage House on Willapa Bay

We always wanted to spend some time on the Coast when there was a chance of stormy weather. We were not disappointed on this trip. Our amazing house was situated just a few feet from a lovely large rock breakwater on Williams Bay just a short ten minute drive from the fishing town of Westport. We experienced practically every kind of weather imaginable from brilliant sunshine to strong winds filling the Bay with white caps. My Son and I surf fished for Ocean perch during low tide tide just steps from the back porch deck. The house was clean and bright, cozy warm, and had everything we needed for a very enjoyable stay. I recommend this place to anyone who enjoys a quiet setting with plenty of interesting things to see and do close by. We look forward or coming back regularly.

Crabbing Bonanza

The location of this rental right on the beach is the best. Everything we needed for our family (4 adults, 1 infant), was available here. Communication, check in and out and all amenities are top notch. The host deserves his 5-star rating. One of the best things, which is different from every other rental we’ve tried, was the check in and out times. Check in was early - 11:00am and check out was 2:00pm.

Family Getaway

This home was the perfect size and location for four adults and our one grandson. We have stayed here before and we hope to come back again and again. The host was gracious, attentive and very helpful. This is the only property we’ve ever found that allows early checkin (11 am) AND a later checkout (2 pm)! It is so convenient and you really feel like you’ve had your money’s worth. Beds are comfortable and there’s always enough towels and extra pillows and blankets. I love the smell of the Meyers soap found in both bathrooms and kitchen. With this home being right on the water’s edge, the view is spectacular and access is easy for beachcombing.

Truly Something Special

This property is amazing. The view was spectacular and the neighborhood was quiet. We had direct access to the beach. The house had two pairs of boots (M11 and W6) that fit my wife and I perfectly. We were able to walk out on the beach when the tide was out. We also enjoyed eating at the picnic table on the deck which overlooked the bay. Hands down the best host, Radley is super responsive and answered all my questions. My wife fell in love with the property, she’s already planning another trip back. Will absolutely return for another stay!

Crab Bonanza

We had a wonderful time in the cottage by the sea! The home was clean, well-stocked and very close to everything. The host was super attentive and very responsive and accommodating. We enjoyed every minute and we’ll be back.

Great Stay

Our stay in Tokeland was great. The home is small but accurately reflected in the listing and was perfect for our purposes. It is right on the bay and the sunsets were spectacular. We didn’t find a great way to walk on “the beach” given the location and the tides, but we were able to go to a state park in Grayland (15 minutes). This is not a tourist area with a bunch of restaurants, etc, but it’s so quiet and peaceful and close enough to other towns to get what you need and have fun. Overall, great stay.

The most comfortable bed I have ever slept in, adorable interior design, on the water magnificent views, everything you need for your stay included if not there is a store and a casino within 5 min drive, no current access to beach but hopefully soon, can not wait to come back next year.

Great quiet location with a wonderful view

The property was just right for our stay. Right on the waterfront and close to the local beaches. The owners put a lot of effort into making sure everything was setup for a great stay. Plenty of small details which just made the stay easier. We didn't use any of the BBQ grills but they were available. I liked the lightweight flannel jackets just hanging up by the door.

Amazing views

Amazing views in living areas of house. Windows everywhere. When I left my tablet behind the owner and his cleaner went out of their way to get it back to me. Would definitely recommend.

The best stay!

We loved our stay! Not only was the view amazing, but everything else about the house was too. The kitchen was fully stocked, there were plenty of towels/extra linens, the beds were very comfortable, and any questions we had were quickly answered. The Tokeland Hotel and Nelson Crab Cannery are within walking distance and worth going to. We spent lots of time in Westport, about 20 minutes away with lots of shopping/restaurants. We would love to come back someday!

Unforgettable

Wow! We were already planning on returning after the second day. Everything about this beautiful home exceeded our expectations. The quality of the towels, wine glasses, cooking utensils, all were top notch! The bed was the most comfortable we’ve ever had at a vacation home rental. Even the hangers for our clothes were nice. The location is quiet and serene, just what we were looking for. Sitting on the deck listening to the waves and enjoying wine from nearby Westport Winery was perfection. And the stars at night, unreal. We’d planned on driving to Astoria and some other areas during our week but it was so relaxing we scrapped that plan and stayed put. Brady’s Oysters was a superb and close market to get fresh oysters, salmon and fresh seafood. We cooked on the small grill provided and shucked oysters 2 nights in a row for dinner. There are 2 crab rings in the garage so tried our luck at the nearby marina and did pretty well. A fun and chill way to spend the evenings at sunset. Don’t miss having the one of the best meals you’ll ever have at the Tokeland Hotel. Tour their garden, sit by the fire pit and meet the animals. It’s within walking distance, how lucky! Radley, our host was excellent with prompt communication, which was just us asking for more info…we had zero issues. We forgot to bring our binoculars and the nice camera, the two things that should have been top of our list! The bird watching at low tide would be worth having both.

Tokeland Gem

This charming, recently remodeled house is right on the water in Tokeland. The pictures included in the listing are accurate, so you can immediately see what a nice house this is. The kitchen has all the basic things you need to cook, including a nice selection of basic cooking oils and spices. The deck has a picnic table that is perfect for eating outside and watching the fishing boats go by. The ocean view is fantastic - you can watch the tides go in and out. On certain days during low tide you can see folks out digging for clams. The scenery is just stunning and very peaceful. The internet speed is fantastic - very quick. The TV has a good selection of streaming services. The beds are super comfy so it is easy to get a good nights rest. Just a great place to stay. While there, plan to visit the Tokeland hotel. It is the oldest hotel in Washington state - built in 1885. It is a step back in time - beautiful place and the food there is fantastic. Also would recommend visiting Nelson Crab for fresh crab and a cute souvenir shop. The house is about a 30 minute drive from Westport that has many restaurants and shops right on the water. One last thing - the host, Radley, is a superhost and really deserves this title. He bent over backward to make sure that we had everything we needed without being obtrusive. He is very welcoming and makes you feel like you are staying at a good friends home.
