"The George Inn was an excellent choice for our first night in England, due to its proximity to Stonehenge and the reasonable cost. All staff were attentive and helpful. "I booked this for my family during my wedding and wow is all i can say. The soace was stunning and Harriet and Giles just could not do enough for us. I was blown away by theirckindness and generosity. To the point at which they let us put my wedding cake in the fridge. Honestly the best hosts ive ever had. Thanks so much guys i know it trueky meant the world to my mum. "

"Nice friendly staff. We were able to stow our luggage inside because we arrived too early and after checking out to tour the town. Close to the train station. Rooms were recently remodeled. Breakfast was traditional, very good, home cooked. The only downside is the stairs to the rooms. Very tight, but they will bring the luggage up for you."

"We found The Duke to be 5star. Everything was perfect, especially the delightful young staff. Always smiling and very helpful. Decor was very sophisticated and stylish. All the meals were delicious and served on lovely hot plates!!!!!!!!! We will definitely return for another break. Thank you Duke team."
