"The bartender was great, he was knowledgeable about things to do and see not just in Golden but around the area. The lady (young girl) front desk, was very unfriendly and really acted like she hated her job. When we checked in we were told one thing about parking and everyday we were there it was an annoying situation to park. When we checked out they wanted to charge us for valet parking every day which we never did. Would I go back to Golden yes. But wouldnt stay there."

"We had a nice stay at the Golden Hotel. The front desk was helpful and appreciated the small things like offering water bottles and getting more coffee when it ran out. The parking fee was reasonable and easy. The rooms were clean, quiet and comfy. The food and drinks were good and loved the outdoor ambiance. It was in a great location and right off the Creek which made a nice evening stroll. I would definitely stay here again."

"This stay was an unexpected eye opener to a time when antiques, and sumptuous sit down breakfasts with warm and kind people were a normal day-to-day experience. This beautiful historical home, centrally located within walking distance of the picture perfect town of Golden was an over-the-top addition to the plans we had made for my niece's 50th birthday. We highly recommend this unique B&B to anyone who wants a fresh perspective on what is truly important in life. This will not disappoint."

"Very friendly staff. We really enjoyed our stay. Breakfast buffet was good, but thought the happy hour food was outstanding."

"This hotel was absolutely wonderful!! Staff was friendly, everything felt clean, great location and great food! Highly recommend! We are a family of 5 and it still felt spacious!"

"Very clean room."

"Didn't understand the extra change beyond what was booked and expected. No receipt to explain it either."

"Very nice, historic home with old world charm. You’re able to roam the property and see the ballroom. Breakfast is made to order. Host made an exception for me as I only wanted toast with jelly and black coffee. Walking around in the neighborhood was very nice with all the old houses."

"Hot breakfast bar was great"

"No soap for your hands so bring your own. Besides that staff was helpful and sweet!"
