"The property is situated in a beautiful location handy for Bakewell and Buxton. The room was spacious and the bed was comfy although the pillows were not great. There was lots of storage for our things. The bathroom was also a good size but I was disappointed to find a couple of long black hairs on the floor! The staff were pleasant and efficient. The breakfast was plentiful and we also are there in the evening whi h was tasty and good value for money. There is plenty of parking space."

"Had a lovely nights stay - very comfortable bed, lovely size room with everything we could want. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, fresh fruits and lots of biscuit in the room which was extremely clean. "Adequate hotel stay. I booked the hotel room for 2 people yet there was only 1 bottle of water and only 1 breakfast teabag. This may sound trivial to you but this room was not cheap £161.00 per night and there wasn’t enough water and teabags for the both of us! "Fantastic place to stay We went as a family with children 11 and 14 who enjoyed the pool after a long day at Alton Towers The only down fall or negative point would be the toilet roll in the rooms were awful and cheap that needs looking into. Otherwise a fantastic stay and I’ll be staying again sometime. "

"When we arrived at the lodge we were supposed to be staying in there was another family there who said the lodge they were supposed to be staying in was occupied so they were given this lodge. We rang the contact number and he apologised, we were provided the key code for another lodge and when i opened the door that was occupied as there was a dog in there.
