"The facilities are modern and kept clean. Our granddaughter enjoyed the pool multiple times. Breakfast was good with choices of scrambled eggs, toast or muffins or bagels. The ham was delicious, too. We enjoyed our stay since the location was convenient to Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse Memorial and Custer State Park as well as the airport."

"Room was mostly clean minus a few crumbs and what looked like greasy spots on the headboard. Staff seemed nice especially the breakfast staff. They seemed more friendly than the front desk staff. Breakfast was okay. A person who I travel with thought it was good and he usually complains. Pool area was basic but good. My daughter thought the pillows were so comfy. No insects that I could see which made me relieved since it seems to be a common review in several of the hotels we looked at in Rapid...

"Surprisingly nice hotel - it would be perfect for people attending events at the monument. They have a very nice pool, breakfast was good and they offered a reception with drinks and popcorn at night including a cultural training from a Lakota gentleman. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The laundry on site was handy and the staff were super helpful as well. The gym is in the basement so we didn’t end up using that and the hot tub jets didn’t work."

"Excellent location to visit various sites, plenty of places to eat or shop nearby. The furniture in the lobby was in poor shape and needs replacing as the some of the chairs were about to fall apart. Room was clean and housekeeping did a fantastic job providing items needed. Breakfast was decent."

"Room walls had holes in the walls. Bathroom tub was dirty from not draining properly and constant water drip. The only good about the stay was they refunded me the $35 pet fee."

"When we walked in the room also smelled. The bathroom was not very clean, the walls and the paper was peeling off. In the shower there were hairs from other guests."

"the ice machine was broken on the 2,3 floor. guest has to go on the 4 the floor to get ice. that is not match with service and the cost of the room . No drinking bottle water to guest."

"Pricey for a room with black mold in the shower caulking. Room was clean except the bathroom. Bed was decent."

"The double queen room was very old and outdated. Whatever chemicals they use to clean were so strong it gave me a migraine. The mattresses were AWFUL. By the time we got back from Mount Rushmore, there was no one in the office and the mattresses were so terrible we couldn’t stay. We ended up leaving at 11pm and continued on our trip. Will not be back!"
