"This is a great location for a family. Close to Mt Rushmore and the other Black Hills attractions, and well-maintained with a kitchenette and firepit. The only weakness is the loft is very low and our kids were not comfortable sleeping with such a low ceiling. Still 5 stars though."

"Some of the staff acted like you were inconveniencing them when asking a question. Requested an extra blanket and pillows upon arrival and was told they would bring them up when they had time. Never happened. Went down to the desk the next day and was told they didn't have any. Some of the staff was very helpful. Breakfast was sufficient."

"My granddaughter and I were very happy with our accomodations at the Roosevelt. The beds were comfortable, the breakfast was good with easy access, the pool and area were clean. We enjoyed the balcony just to watch the people. Perhaps a higher table and chairs would be good though, as the railing is right where you look if you're sitting down. :-) Overall, this was very enjoyable and I would certainly go back, as well as recommend it to my friends and family."

"We booked a 4 night stay and our room was never properly cleaned. I understand about service every other day as far as making beds but we didn’t have any clean coffee cups or water glasses or packets to make coffee. I was very disappointed in the housekeeping services and would definitely discourage anyone from staying there."
