"We had a good overall experience at this cabin/cottage. The place was clean, comfortable, and matched my expectations for the price. Check-in and communication with the host were smooth and hassle-free. The location was cool, kind of on a peninsula, and had everything we needed for our stay. Bathroom was tight but functional. It was close enough to what we wanted to do. We did not utilize the water at all but it was nice viewing the lake in our downtime. I would stay here again. "

"Nice secluded beach with lots of nature; the stair down to the beach is steep. Fun swimming beaches and attractions nearby. A bit of highway noise since the house is right off the main road with lots of semis, but also easy access. The metal bunk beds were too squeaky and hard for sleeping. The house had most of the basic kitchen tools we needed (there is now a can opener) and it was clean."

"Great place to stay in the U.P. About 20ish minutes from st ignace which was nice because we spent a day on Mackinac Island. Very peaceful and relaxing area. My kids loved the paddle boat. Plenty of space for our family of 4. We would definitely stay here again. "

"It was a wonderful place to stay nestled in the woods. We had a family from Berlin, Germany staying with my husband.and I! The children ages 9,11, and 14, We had access to the lake and water park across the street so that was a bonus! I do have a complaint about the kitchen, no paper towels, no dishcloths (the dishwasher was broken) and only 2 wine glasses! Also, there was a bit of coffee for us but you should have a Keurig coffee maker as well! We brought Keurig pods with us, and/or a bigger...

"This place is great. The cabin was clean and adorable and stocked more than i expected. The location on the beach gives and incredible view and you can watch the sunrise over the water from the porch. Will stay again "

"Beach front cabin could not be beat for location and the cabin was clean and a great home base for all things Mackinaw city within walking distance, including the ferry to Mackinac Island. Beach is rocky in places, so be sure to bring some good water shoes! Access to the amenities of the nearby hotels was also a nice bonus, although some of the hotel facilities are a bit dated and have some deferred maintenance. The information sent to on check in day could provide better directions to the...

"We arrived to our beautiful rental greeted by a lovely card, banana bread and other treats. The directions for the property and check in were very easy to follow. The area is very peaceful and we were able to take a walk down by the lake and view the bridge. Mary Lynn communicated very well and has the home well stocked and very clean. We love the area, it’s a beautiful property and would highly recommend "

"It was a bit tricky to find since it is hidden behind a hotel. Google maps took us to the right parking lot (Waterfront Inn) - just go all the way to the back. If you like the natural wood look, you will love this cabin. Just about perfect but missing some little details like wall hooks in bathroom/bedroom, a broom for sand on the porch, etc. Easy walk to Arnold ferry and downtown shops. Large bed in one bedroom, and bunk beds in an open alcove next to the bathroom - great for kids. We...

"This will be our "Go To" place to stay in Mackinaw. By far the best place to stay if you like privacy, convenience and the perfect location. We slept 6 with no issues. Would be amazing for a couple. We will be back. "

"The cabin was great and had everything we needed. It was very clean. The check in and out process was super easy and communication with the owner was great. Plenty of small touches to make it nice and that the owner thought of everything. "

"We had a lovely stay with our family of 8 and our pup. The lakefront location was wonderful (don’t miss out on the beautiful sunsets and excellent late night star gazing) and the cabin had all the amenities we needed. The cabin was a bit difficult to find at night if you’re driving in for the first time. The location was great and not too far away from the neighboring cities. Thanks for allowing our family to stay, we would surely come back! "

"We had a great time! Location was convenient to both Mackinaw City and Cheboygan. Dog friendly with room to let them play and a great trail to walk. This is an eclectic place with pop culture Easter eggs sprinkled throughout.This was a comfortable place for a quiet weekend. "

"Very beautiful area, close to dark sky. Had all needed amenities. Close to Wilderness State Park, Mackinaw, etc. the only concern, some window screens were missing or had holes. They may have been stored away for the end of season. "

"A nice place to enjoy the beach, no matter the weather. Enough room for everyone without being cramped. Wifi easy, excellent views, quite neighborhood, peaceful setting. In short we LOVED IT."
