Welcome to The Beach Hutch, your home away from home! If you are searching for the perfect beach front vacation spot, your search is over. Located on Lake Michigan’s pristine north shore and offering 120 feet of private soft sand beach, this truly spectacular home encompasses everything you would expect in a beach front home.
Entering the home, you are greeted with a large open floor plan, vaulted ceilings, and bright airy windows offering exceptional lake views from almost every room. There is a spacious well-equipped Kitchen with bar seating for 4 and table seating for 6. The sink has Purified Reverse Osmosis drinking water so you won't have to bring or buy bottled water! You will also find the washer/dryer as well as Bedroom/Bathroom 1 in this area of the home. Next you will enter the Great Room with a floor to ceiling stone fireplace, cozy couch seating for 5 and a 60-inch HDTV. Off to one side of the Great Room are Bedrooms 2 & 3 along with Bathroom 2. Flowing through to the other side is the large waterfront Sunroom with captivating panoramic views of Lake Michigan. Inside this room you will find yourself encompassed by beauty. This stunning room is furnished with a dining table for 6, a full sleeper sofa, and ample seating/comfort as you sit and take in Lake Michigan’s vast beauty.
From the Sunroom you can access the wrap around deck, teak table, grill and outdoor shower. As you step off the deck you are just 30 steps away from the sugary soft sand and the crystal-clear water of Lake Michigan. Outside there is something for everyone’s beach side enjoyment. Some of the amenities provided are Adirondack chairs, kayaks, water and sand toys, and a Little Tikes playground. The soft sandy bottom and gradual sloping water depth allow for some of the best swimming in the area. On the other end of the beach is a firepit. This is the perfect place to sit under the stars with a relaxing bonfire while catching glimpses of shooting stars.

We do require a "Security/Damage Hold" for all rentals. This is not a charge and is intended for accidental damage that may happen during your stay. Great location on Lake Michigan

Obviously the best thing about this vacation rental is the location. The views and beach were lovely! The house was ok but definitely gets used a lot and had some old/broken things. Overall we enjoyed our stay as the house is just a place to stay and we were mostly on the beach and in the water.

They try to overcharge customers some how. They charge cleaning fee but they don’t clean what you expect and when you leave the house a little messy owner start txting and complaining. 1, handed customers clean. 2nd, don’t charge cleaning fee. Still they overcharge me than what they mentioned online.

Great Expectations

A nice place to enjoy the beach, no matter the weather. Enough room for everyone without being cramped. Wifi easy, excellent views, quite neighborhood, peaceful setting. In short we LOVED IT.

Bluff Beach Hutch Stay

We truly enjoyed this property! We stayed at the Bluff Beach Hutch. The home is huge, had a wonderful view of the water and a beach just a few steps away, with privacy! The home was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed plus more. The owners were fantastic! We would stay again in a heartbeat!

Perfect Porch Views

The view from the living room windows is gorgeous! The porch view is even better, it’s by far the best part of the house. It’s very private and relaxing. You walk right off the porch to the sand and water. We had 4 kids with us and you could watch them play from multiple views with ease which made them happy and the adults! The homeowners were very accommodating and answered the few questions we had very quickly. One issue with a tub drain was immediately taken care of and they even offered a way for us to watch a MLB game we couldn’t get locally.We loved St. Ignace and the close trip to Mackinaw city and Mackinaw island. There are several restaurants and ice cream shops close by. This was on of the most relaxing and enjoyable trips we’ve taken with our family and friends in a long time we will go back!!

Peaceful Retreat

We enjoyed the beach hut with our family including many children. The home was clean and in order. The distance from the home & deck to the beach & lake was a dream. It’s an amazing location. The children spent a lot of time in the lake and walked to many sand bars. Thank you for this experience.

Great Family Retreat!

Phenomenal views, well equipped home, good beach, nice owners to deal with, attractive natural barriers from road and neighbors. Only slight negative is proximity to a major highway with traffic 24/7, but we’d go again.

Second time we have stayed there. Love this home. Gorgeous view! Love sitting in the sunroom and looking out over Lake Michigan! Enjoy seeing the freighters go by. Home has lots of space. Everything you need in the kitchen to make meals. Had a great time taking the 2 kayaks out. Can go far enough that you can see the Mackinac Bridge.

Great Place, Great Location!

This place was very spacious and accommodated two families very easy. Great seating area outside on the deck for dinners and to view the lake and sun sets. Beach was very clean with some rocks along the shore but once you got out 10-15 feet was all sand. House had all amenities in kitchen and most windows had screens and could be open to feel the breeze off the water on the hot days. The house sits back from the road and has plenty of trees in the front which helps with the busy highway noise and is very private from both neighbors on each side. The included kayaks were a great addition and paddling in the bay early mornings and evenings was fantastic. Highly recommend this place and is at a ideal location to visit attractions like the Mystery Spot, GarLyn Zoo, Tahquamenon Falls, Downtown St. Ignace and Mackinac Island.

Mid fall stay

loved the property and location. Unfortunately, due to Covid and Rain many of the on site amenities we were looking forward to were not available. Also, late in the season that many attractions were closed. Hoping to make it back to the Beach Hutch again and get the full experience!

Incredible!!

This property was stunning! Although there were restrictions as far as bedding goes, (we brought our own bedding due to Covid-19) the experience was more than great. We were able to have plentiful use of the beach and kayaked out to a great view of the Mackinac bridge! Everything in the house was perfectly labeled and was easy use! Our family had a great time and already planning to come back next year!
