"Our room was spacious and clean. Free coffee and tea in the lobby. Friendly staff. However, if I had to make a suggestion would be to completely get rid of the smoking room in the lobby. It’s right next to the laundry room and elevator. It’s unavoidable to smell it in the hallway as space is limited.
Free laundry room was nice - one tip would be to wash clothes in the machine then transfer it to the dryer. The drying function in those combo washers never worked well."

"Very clean and lots of room. Provided slippers and toiletry items. Only issue we encountered which is not really hotel's fault is that someone removed our wet laundry from the dryer twice in one night to put their own laundry in. Some people are just rude."

"Clean and comfortable rooms. Washer/Dryer combo was great to have in room but it takes a long time to wash and dry (don't put too many clothes at once, better to run it daily). Location was pretty central/walkable. The superior room is pretty small/tight but manageable; the deluxe was very spacious and would recommend."

"Great location!! Easy to get to from the train station. The market was next door for quick waters and snacks. The river was so close and the Nishi market (spelling might be wrong) just 15 min walk. Gion was close and we did a night tour. The hotel was easy to get everywhere!! The space was bigger than our Asakusa Minn and the bathtub was HUGE!! We took a bath to rest after 20k steps!!"

"Great for 5 adults to enjoy the Japanese futon beds and home. One western queen, 3 futon beds, 2 baths, kitchen, washer/dryer combo (which I did not like as the drying made everything wrinkled as if drying clothes after a wash spin cycle and took over 3 hours). Would like to have a drying rack or hangers to dry the clothes. Western bedroom had locks on the closet so no way to hang anything and no place for putting away clothes so we left them in open suitcases. 1st floor single futon room had...
